Description
New molded carpet is one of the most satisfying upgrades in a standard cab, laying flat and hugging the floor instead of bunching like universal carpet. This piece is formed to the floor of a 1981-87 Chevy or GMC standard cab with the small hump.
Small hump applies to 2WD automatic trucks, while 4WD and manual trucks use the large hump. You can add mass backing, a half inch thick sound deadener molded to the carpet, for the quietest result, or at minimum add a foil insulation layer. The carpet ships with no holes cut out, so you trim the openings to fit.
