Description
A sagging or loose tailgate often traces back to a worn hinge trunnion, the pivot the gate swings on. This left side tailgate hinge trunnion restores a firm, correct pivot on your 1975-80 Chevy or GMC Square Body Fleetside truck.
It mounts on the tailgate post attached to the bedside and works with the mating part welded into the tailgate itself. Swap in a fresh trunnion and your tailgate drops level and latches the way the factory intended.
